RetroLAN 2 • Some stats

• This event, we used 2.74km of cabling
• One admin did not have a PC for the event
• This was the only event in which an admin was directly involved in shutting down the power for 8 people
• This was only the third time Missingo’s PCs had not been in the same region as the power brown-out
• Locutus’s PC were also not involved, for the first time
• 40 tables were sourced for this event, 3 had curry stains we had to wipe, 4 had mysterious bubblegum marks the admin team had to clean
• 8 competitions were planned of that, 4 went ahead and 2 competitions were just made up in JT’s head and run randomly
• Our most popular competition, the TF 2 Prize-a-thon, was the one competition that died most spectacularly (it will return!)
• 70 bodies were present at the event, with and additional 6 guests running around that we couldn’t account for (club observers etc.)
• 3 people asked Jaytee if they could go to the toilet
• Network issues were present. The only people affected in the entire room were the admins.
• The SOGC provided a replacement wireless modem to the Mosman Club, after bringing their existing one to its knees
• The cupcakes disappeared at the event before 4pm. Jaytee got to eat only a single cupcake :’(
• The SOGC has now got plans to display further helpful public announcements like the urinal etiquette displayed earlier.
• YEEAAHH TOOOAST!
